Spurs defender engages in bizarre post-match interview

Jan Verthongen probably would have found himself in hot water if he had avoided his media obligations on Sunday.

After Spurs' dramatic 3-2 victory over Everton at White Hart Lane, defender Jan Verthongen was tasked with speaking to his club's official fan channel. But Verthongen is a busy man, we assume. He didn't have time to dilly-dally and talk about the intricacies of the 90 minutes or attempt to defend his questionable positioning for Romelu Lukaku's goal with ten minutes remaining.
