The Ligue 1 meeting between Bastia and Lyon in Corsica was delayed after the home fans ran on to the pitch and attempted to attack Lyon players during their warm-up.
As you can see in the footage below, Lyon 'keeper Mathieu Gorgelin was caught in the middle of the pitch invasion as stewards desperately tried to hold off the intruding fans.
Moments later, the players were quickly ushered down the tunnel and ordered to remain in the dressing room/tunnel.
This is the second time this week that the French side have had to endure crowd trouble, their Europa League quarter-final with Besiktas was also marred by fans clashing.
Thankfully, the supporters have been cleared off the pitch at the Stade Armand Cesari and the game is currently underway.
As things currently stand, Bastia are rock bottom of Ligue 1 while Lyon are in fourth position, 22 points behind the leaders Monaco.
Take a look at the events that unfolded before kick-off.
