iPhone users are furious.
Another day, another complaint against Apple with users now claiming that the tech giant's latest update is draining the life out of their batteries.
Apple users have gone so far as to say that the latest iOS 16.5.1 release is ruining and even 'murdering' their battery life, reports the Daily Mail.
One user claimed that their battery went from 77 per cent to zero while the update took place, saying it happened while they were asleep for just five hours (sound like something from a horror film if you ask me).
Other users complained that the update was overheating their devices, with one person even claiming their hands felt 'sunburnt' after having their phone in their hand for too long. Yikes.
One person wrote: "Whatever secret sauce they put in that last iPhone update that is murdering my battery, can they just not."
Another person added: "Went to sleep with 77% battery life, 5 hours later I got no battery anymore and my iPhone is hot! Got IOS 16.5.1, the latest update."
A third wrote: "I don't like this new update. Android can't stress me like this."
The update was released in an apparent effort to fix an issue which prevented certain websites from loading properly. The rapid response however has been condemned with some users alleging that the real reason for these updates is to cause the products to crash forcing users to buy newer products.
Many have now been suggesting they will switch over to Android. Will you?
