Zlatan marks his Parisian century in style

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, that enigmatic hulk of brawn and majesty, scored his 100th, 101st and 102nd goals for Paris Saint-Germain last night to fire them into the French Cup final.

It was part of a 4-1 rout of Saint-Etienne, and means that the Parisian club will face Auxerre in the Coupe de France final on May 30th. In a way, the three strikes epitomised what makes the 33-year-old such an icon of the modern game. The first was a nonchalant penalty; the second a tap-in following a sumptuous touch to round the keeper... ...whilst the third was a left-footed pile-driver after he had deceived the defender with a deft roll of his studs over the ball.
