Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola has revealed that a Chinese Super League side offered the forward a ludicrous sum of money but it was turned down in favour of a reunion with Mourinho.
"Ibrahimovic is the best," Raiola told Il Giornale via Manchester Evening News.
"He turned down €100m (£87m) net from the Chinese. He doesn't want more money, he wants to win.
"I've been lucky. I've always had champions."
Ibrahimovic apparently rejected an offer £1.67 million a week so that he could move to United, where he is believed to be on £200,000 a week.
Some things are more important than money, we suppose.
And, to be fair, we don't reckon Ibra's exactly short a few bob.
