Wayne Rooney has paid tribute to the victims of the Buncrana tragedy in County Donegal, Ireland.

A family of five lost their lives when their car fell into Lough Swilly on Sunday evening. Sean McGrotty, his children Mark and Evan, his mother-in-law Ruth Daniels and her daughter Jodie Lee Daniels, who was the sister of Derry City midfielder Josh Daniels, all tragically died. McGrotty's four-month old baby, Rionaghac-Ann, was heroically saved by former League of Ireland player Davitt Walsh.
