A tired and emotional Robbie Savage made a crazy comparison on BBC

The former Wales and Leicester City midfielder is an excitable chap at the best of times, but lost the run of himself a little on Saturday morning on BBC Breakfast, which is perfectly understandable given the circumstances. Savage was still celebrating Wales' incredible 3-1 victory over Belgium in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016, and used the words "Hal Robson-Kanu" and "Lionel Messi" in the same sentence, comparing the Welsh striker's turn and finish in Lille to an act akin to greatest player who ever lived. We'll give Robbie a pass though, as he was clearly "tired and emotional", and had just witnessed a result that was beyond the wildest dreams of even the most optimistic of Welsh fans just a few years ago.
