A new study has found that Tottenham Hotspur have lost £165,000 in revenue per home game this season. Spurs' stadium - the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - has had an average of 8,284 empty seats per game this term, according to a study by OLBG. The study has found that the North London outfit's losses in potential revenue per home game are the highest in the Premier League, despite listing Spurs' lowest ticket price this campaign at just £20. However, ticket prices changed on two occasions this season, with the price being lowered for matches against Pacos de Ferreira and Morecambe. While the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has a capacity of 62,850, the study adds that Spurs haven't brought in a crowd of more than 45,603 since December 5. Spurs' London rivals Chelsea aren't far behind Antonio Conte's side, though. The Blues' average amount lost to empty seats per match is £154k. Chelsea have had an average of 3,282 seats unoccupied so far this season, despite Stamford Bridge boasting a capacity of 40,834 - with tickets for Premier League matches starting at £47 for adults. Next on the list are Southampton and Burnley, with lost revenues of £108k and £101k respectively, while Manchester City's 2,465 empty seats per game costs the reigning Premier League champions £86k.
