"Bournemouth is a good club," Ibe is quoted as saying by the Daily Mirror.
"They play the same football as Brendan Rodgers used to play so I like the style of play and the philosophy the manager has got.
"It is a great opportunity for me to take another step in my career and develop as a player."
Ibe played more than 40 games for Liverpool last season, having spent part of the previous campaign on loan at Derby, and scored his last Liverpool goal in the final day draw with West Bromwich Albion.
