Four of Man City's direct competitors could sue the club for a major amount - if they are found guilty in the 115 charges case.
Back in February 2023, the Premier League accused Man City of breaching FFP rules 115 times.
The club deny these charges, with the verdict and outcome yet to be answered.
Although, it is understood that the verdict will likely arrive before the start of next season, with the decision majorly impacting City.
As per The Times, four rivals could all claim major money, having all served legal notices on City in 2024.
Originally it was unknown whether Arsenal, Liverpool, Man United and Tottenham could claim compensation, but now after it was reported Burnley are suing Everton for £40m, the clubs now have a case.
Burnley's case was that the six points deduction Everton were handed for breaching PSR in the 2021/22 season would have had a major difference if it was implemented in that same season.
Everton instead were awarded the points deduction in the 2023/24 season, where Burnley were comfortably relegated under Vincent Kompany.
In the 21/22 season, their relegation went down to the wire, with The Toffees earning four more points than the Clarets, who went down at the expense of Leeds United on the final day.
