Northern Ireland has just qualified for their first major tournament since 1986 and Kyle Lafferty and Chris Baird were having a celebratory beer during the interview.
This should have set off alarm bells that something was going to happen.
Sky Sports reporter Paul Gilmour must have thought he'd gotten away with an incident-free interview, when he turned to do his piece to camera to sign off the report.
But as soon as his back was turned Lafferty and Baird pounced.
