Burnley midfielder Hannibal Mejbri has been charged with misconduct by the FA for allegedly spitting at Leeds United supporters during a Premier League fixture on October the 18th.
The charge has been confirmed by the FA in a statement made today.

The statement alleges that the Tunisian international footballer “acted in breach of the Laws of the Game and/or in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or indecent behaviour by spitting at or in the direction of Leeds Unirted supporters around the 67th minute”.
While the player was only subbed on in the 83rd minute of the game, the incident is believed to have taken place while the 22-year-old was warming up on the sidelines.
The FA have given Hannibal until the 28th of November to respond to the charge.
The full statement reads: "Burnley’s Hannibal Mejbri has been charged with misconduct following their Premier League fixture against Leeds United on Saturday 18 October.
"It’s alleged that the player acted in breach of the Laws of the Game and/or in an improper manner and/or used abusive and/or indecent behaviour by spitting at or in the direction of Leeds United supporters around the 67th minute.
"Hannibal Mejbri has until Friday 28 November to provide a response."
