The Reds defeated Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 at Anfield on the final day of the league season but unfortunately for Jurgen Klopp's side, it was not enough to win the league title, as Manchester City stayed top with a 4-1 victory over Brighton and Hove Albion. With a Champions League final on June 1, Liverpool fans know that their season isn't over and it showed in how the fans and players greeted the final whistle of this game. After the game, the supporters at Anfield cheered their players off as if they had won the title; a sign of the esteem in which this team and their escapades this season are held.
