The Evening Standard's contributors were unanimous when it came to predicting how the FA Cup final would play out. The pundits were in agreement with the bookmakers as they all predicted that Chelsea would double up on their Premier League glory with a routine victory at Wembley on Saturday evening. But, as we're sure you're aware, the #MagicOfTheCup reared its wondrous head this weekend and Arsenal pulled off a stunning performance as they outplayed the Premier League champions en route to a 2-1 victory. Master tactician Antonio Conte was outsmarted by Arsene Wenger as he became the competition's most successful manager of all time. And possibly more enjoyable for the Gunners players than lifting the Cup was the returning to the pre-match predictions which proved false.
