Marouane Fellaini injured in Belgium game and could be out for a few weeks

Jose Mourinho won't be happy.

Manchester United could be without Marouane Fellaini for a few weeks. The Belgian midfielder went off injured during his country’s World Cup qualifier away to Bosnia-Herzegovina on Saturday afternoon. Fellaini lasted just 29 minutes of the 4-3 win before being substituted after a Bosnian player landed awkwardly on his left knee. There are fears that he has suffered knee ligament damage. "We are all worried about Fellaini," Roberto Martinez, the Belgium manager, said after the game.

The 29-year-old midfielder is also a big doubt for United's trip to Anfield to play Liverpool next Saturday, and could be on the sidelines for a few weeks. His injury will undoubtedly cause Jose Mourinho a headache. The United manager is already without the injured Paul Pogba, and he will wonder why Fellaini was risked in the game when Belgium have already secured their place at the World Cup.
