Despite playing regularly for United, rumours that Fellaini might be on the move this summer continue to linger. Already, he's been linked to one of those Turkish clubs that isn't Galatasaray, Besiktas or Fenerbahce, and now it seems the 29-year-old is quite open to making a move to the Chinese Super League.
Speaking to VTM News, Fellaini was asked if he'd ever follow in the footsteps of countryman Axel Witsel by moving to China when the transfer window opens later this month. Instead of elbowing this idea squarely on the head, Fellaini kept his options very much open.
“In China? Why not?" he said.
"I’m now Manchester United player, but I do not rule out such a transfer in the future.”
