The win not only keeps United in contention for a top-four finish that seemed beyond them when Solskjaer took the wheel, it also set a new club record. Victory at Selhurst Park was their eighth consecutive win away from home - something the club has never achieved before.
Starting with the win at Cardiff City in Solskjaer's first game in charge, United have gone on to beat Newcastle, Tottenham, Arsenal, Leicester, Fulham, Chelsea and now Palace while on the road in league and cup fixtures.
Domestically, United have only failed to win twice under Solskjaer - both home draws in the league against Burnley and Liverpool.
