Liverpool are in advanced talks to sign the 'best goalkeeper at Euro 2024', a fresh report from Relevo in Spain has revealed.
Recently, there has been debate regarding who should be Alisson's successor when he departs, and it appears that man is now identified and in advanced talks to being on his way to Anfield.
During Euro 2024, Giorgio Mamardashvili went viral for his saves for Georgia as the underdogs remarkably reached the round of 16 before losing to eventual champions Spain.
Now, Liverpool want to reportedly sign him.
Going out eventually to the tournament winners, Mamardashvili made an exceptional ten saves for Georgia in their group stage draw versus Czech Republic, before they pulled off the shock of the tournament to qualify for the knockout rounds by beating Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal.
It is understood that Mamardashvili would be seen as a long-term successor to Alisson and would be loaned out until the Brazilian international is eventually ready to leave.
Currently at Valencia, the fee being spoken about is around £25m for the 23-year-old.
The giant keeper is also however reportedly wanted by Bournemouth.
