There is no act too small to gain the advantage in sport
When you're going into the second leg of a Champions League semi-final with a three-goal deficit from the first leg, any extra advantage you can gain is welcome.
That is the exact situation that Liverpool face going into their semi-final second leg against Barcelona on Tuesday night, and it appears that their fans have taken it upon themselves to try and tire out their visitors before the match has even started.
The group of supporters were recorded on video which was later posted to Twitter, showing them letting off fireworks outside of the Barcelona team hotel in the city centre.
The Barcelona squad and staff are staying in Liverpool's Hilton Hotel, and would likely have struggled to get a huge amount of sleep thanks to the fireworks, which were reportedly set off early in the morning.

One fan can be heard on the video shouting "wake up call for Mr. Messi" before setting off fireworks, although to be honest it'll most likely take a lot more than some fireworks to stop the freak that is Lionel Messi from terrorising Liverpool's defence for a second week in a row.
If Liverpool do somehow progress past Barcelona though, you'll know who to thank.
