Klopp was enraged by two key first half refereeing decisions

Jurgen Klopp continued to make his feelings known to referee Paul Tierney in the tunnel after Liverpool were on the wrong side of two big decisions in the first half of their Premier League encounter with Tottenham on Sunday. Having given Spurs an early lead in the game, Harry Kane was fortunate to stay on the field after a studs-up challenge on Andy Robertson - a decision which visibly irked Klopp. Tierney's decision not to award Liverpool a penalty shortly after Diogo Jota had headed them level did little to lift Klopp's mood, either. Jota was bundled over in the area by Emerson Royal, with VAR also deciding it was not worthy of a second look from the referee.
