Jurgen Klopp confirms midfielder will be out for opening months of the season

Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that Adam Lallana will not feature for Liverpool for a number of months.

Lallana picked up a thigh injury in Liverpool's Audi Cup final against Atletico Madrid in Munich on Wednesday evening and while it was initially believed that he would recover in a matter of weeks, the club confirmed that the midfielder would be out until October at the absolute earliest.
