With Portugal stuttering through their group (one of the JOE team is regretting tipping them to win)  and the Real Madrid forward frustrated by a lack of goals, (not for want of trying), Ronaldo has been painted as the pantomime baddie of the tournament. Every game Ronaldo plays, the three-time Ballon D'Or winner is scrutinised. For his post-match comments, for his free kick technique, for his penalty taking prowess. It seems like Ronaldo can't quite catch a break at Euro 2016. As Ronaldo fans informed us, Cristiano may have thrown the reporter's microphone in the bottom of a lake because of a long running feud he had with the journalist's employer - CMTV. As we understand it, Cristiano Ronaldo has grievances with CMTV because of stories they've reportedly printed about the star's personal and family life.
