Gareth Southgate has named his first England squad since Euro 2020 for the upcoming international break on the first weekend of September. Patrick Bamford has been called up to his first senior international squad after impressing with Leeds United. Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was selected in Southgate's 33-man provisional squad for Euro 2020 but missed out through injury, is back in the squad for England's World Cup qualifiers against Hungary, Andorra and Poland. Marcus Rashford is yet to play a game for Manchester United this season as he continues his recovery from a shoulder operation, while Mason Greenwood also misses out despite scoring two goals already this season.
