People are still pouring over the details, debating the extent to which Sergio Ramos intended to yank Salah's arm out of its socket, watching Bale's goal on a loop, again and again and again. But something else happened that night that on any other occasion would have been a lot more prominent in the news. Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini attended the match in Kiev as a spectator, but as is always the case for him, it was difficult to blend into the crowd and go unnoticed. Fellaini handled himself well, despite being harassed while just going about his business. Emotions were obviously running high for Liverpool fans before the biggest game of their season, but this sort of targeted abuse off the pitch crosses a line.
