However, he was forced-off injured just a few minutes into the second-half following a seemingly innocuous incident with Danny Drinkwater.
The Chelsea midfielder's cross was blocked by Wilshere. The ball went out for a corner, and Wilshere went down to the ground to receive treatment on his ankle from the Arsenal medical team. The player has been dogged by ankle injuries over the last few years.

A few minutes later, he was replaced by Mohamed Elneny and Arsenal fans were left fearing that the midfielder might be facing another lengthy spell on the sidelines.
Hopefully his substitution was just a precaution and he can get back on the pitch soon.
