The eagerly-anticipated Euro 2024 team of the tournament has finally been revealed and the star-studded XI is packed with talent.
Despite reaching the final however, only one England player made the 11 and it is not the star people expected.
Starting in goal, France's Mike Maignan made the grade with his excellent performances.
At left-back, it was Spain's very own Marc Cucurella, who famously set up Mikel Oyarzabal’s late winner to clinch the elusive trophy.
The centre-back pairing picked was a formidable duo with two Premier League giants included: William Saliba and Manuel Akanji.
As for right-back, fans were shocked to see it was England's Kyle Walker.
Fans took to X to express their surprise:
How on EARTH is Walker there?

In the right-back position, there were instead shouts for France's Jules Kounde or Spain's title-winner Dani Carvajal to make the team.
Kyle Walker getting in ahead of Carvajal or Kounde is outrageous. https://t.co/XAkRo5qGhc

As for the rest of the team, it was Spanish galore.
A midfield three of Fabian Ruiz, Rodri and Dani Olmo, an unbeatable trio.
Olmo remarkably finished as a joint Golden Boot winner, despite initially being only a replacement for the injured Pedri.
The front three moreover is frightening.
Nico Williams, Jamal Musiala and Lamine Yamal take the crowns. The future is now.
