Fans have been left 'baffled' by Phil Foden's Instagram posts following the 2-0 defeat at Liverpool.
Comfortably beaten, it was the seventh game in a row without a victory for Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
Going through a slump, it has come as one of the shocks of the season, with City clear favourites for the title at the start of the season.
With a huge absentee in Rodri, City face a tough game next as 6th-placed Nottingham Forest are the visitors.
City will need a victory to restart their title charge.
Foden, who started the game at Anfield, won the PFA Players' Player of the Year last season for last season's heroics - a campaign in which he bagged 19 goals.
And he's reminded fans of this, posting a photo of him holding up the illustrious trophy:
A Liverpool fan responded: "Slot's rattled Foden, my manager!"
Another supporter argued: "Expecting a masterclass tomorrow."
The post has left fans completely on the fence.
