Digne joined Barca from Paris Saint-Germain two years ago but has spent most of his time as an understudy for first choice left-back Jordi Alba. Everton are believed to view him as a long-term successor to Leighton Baines, who is now 33.
According to the Mirror, Digne isn't the only Barca player who could end up at Goodison in the near future with Colombian central defender Yerry Mina also a target for Silva.
Mina, scorer of his country's late equaliser against England in the World Cup last-16 game, has hardly featured for the Spanish champions since he arrived in January from Palmeiras.
