Bruno Fernandes scored the first goal of Manchester United's Champions League return from the spot away at Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday night, though only at the second attempt. A foul on Anthony Martial presented United with the chance to take a first-half lead at the Parc des Princes. Fernandes, who missed his first penalty in 11 attempts for United at Newcastle over the weekend, saw his initial attempt saved by Keylor Navas. A matter of seconds later, however, Fernandes was given the chance to re-take, with a VAR check confirming Navas had left his goal line before the penalty was taken.
