BREAKING: Harry Maguire found GUILTY of all charges in Greek trial

Harry Maguire has been found guilty of aggravated assault, resisting arrest and repeated attempts of bribery towards police officers on the Greek island of Mykonos, it has been confirmed. The sentence is expected shortly. The Manchester United captain was arrested alongside his brother and a friend on the Greek island on Thursday night after resisting arrest and allegedly fighting with police. In a trial on Tuesday, Maguire's legal team told the court that they were defending his sister, who they allege was injected with a liquid by two Albanian men, before fainting. The prosecutors allege Maguire offered them money, saying: “Do you know who I am? I am the captain of Manchester United, I am very rich, I can give you money, I can pay you, please let us go." https://twitter.com/marthakelner/status/1298293553211289600?s=20 Maguire had flown to Mykonos with family, friends and some teammates earlier in the week, and on Thursday was filmed and photographed meeting fans and enjoy a drink. Later in the night, he was one of a number of people involved in a fight, which the police attempted to break up. During the ensuing struggle, it is alleged that Maguire swore at the police and attempted to run away. During the trial, Maguire's lawyer claimed that the police involved had assaulted him upon his arrival, kicking his legs and saying "Your career is over". Manchester United are yet to respond to the verdict.
