Barcelona’s humble gesture to Irish Club’s youngsters is exactly why we love football

The Barca youngsters won't forget their trip to Dublin in a while.

Last weekend, St Kevin's Boys Club's U13 side stunned their Barcelona counterparts by defeating them thanks to a finely-taken in the Academy Cup. Barca gained revenge on the following day as they defeated St Kevin's on penalties in the final but only after the Irish lads had hauled back a two-goal deficit. The Catalans left with the cup but the memories of that 1-0 loss were fresh in the mind as they settled in back home. On Wednesday, St Kevin's Boys received a glowing, humble letter from the Spanish giants. It read:

"On behalf of Mr. Jordi Roura and Aureli Altimira, we would like to thank the magnificent attention we received during our stay in Dublin while attending your Football tournament. "We are pleased to inform you that the technical staff and our players gave us very positive feedback on the quality and high level found in all the matches. "Wishing you the best sportive success."

Our favourite part is that Barca capitalised 'Football'. Class acts.
