Anthony Joshua warns Tyson Fury he intends to “break his head”

Anthony Joshua has started the trash talk against Tyson Fury nice and early ahead of their prospective Battle of Britain fight. The pair have agreed terms on a two fight deal to decide who is the greatest heavyweight of their generation, but must first deal with Deontay Wilder and Kubrat Pulev before settling the debate once and for all. In an appearance on Sky One panel show A League of Their Own, Joshua fired shots are Fury, saying: "I have a lot of respect for the man, he's a good family man and a good fighter, but on the other hand, I want to break his head." Joshua was confident he wouldn't need a full 12 rounds to beat Fury. "First six rounds, I think, well I know I'm going to take him out then," he said.

"I have had a shorter career, so I'm fresher.  I've been in the deep end longer so I can handle the pressure and I believe I'm going to take him out.

"Fury drew the first and then rejigged his game plan and took Wilder out and schooled him really but I think I'm faster than Wilder anyway, call it what you want, I believe I'm better."

Fury will defend the world title he won from Wilder later this year or in early 2021, while unified champions Joshua will take on Pulev with the hope of fighting Fury afterwards, putting every belt on the line.
