All the goals: Eze and Saka shine as Palace and Arsenal pick up important wins

We'll start with Arsenal vs West Brom. The Gunners travelled the Hawthorns on a snowy Saturday evening but did not let the weather hinder their game plan, cutting through the hosts at will. The 5:30pm kick off came at the AmEx, where hosts Brighton rescued a point against Wolves having gone in 3-1 down at the break. Captain Lewis Dunk secured a draw for the hosts in the 70th minute with a thumping header from a corner. The 3pm kick off saw bottom placed Sheffield United travel to Selhurst Park hoping to pick up a first win of the season. But the Blades' hopes were put to the sword early on as Crystal Palace took a two goal lead through Jeffrey Schlupp and then, his replacement due to injury, Ebere Eze. Schlupp's opener came from some excellent work from Andros Townsend and Wilfried Zaha, with Christian Benteke providing the all important assist. And in the early kick-off, Tottenham were back to their almost-best against Leeds United, whose unreliable backline couldn't contain the deadly combination of Harry Kane and Heung-min Son. The first came from the penalty spot after Ezgjan Alioski took down Steven Bergwijn. The VAR confirmed the foul took place inside the box, though the debate of course continued. Kane buried the penalty straight down the middle before turning provider for Son, who stroked in a perfectly weighted cross at the near post. Toby Alderweireld then made it 3-0 with a header that Illan Meslier fumbled over the line by a matter of millimetres.
