David Lammy, the Labour MP for Tottenham, is as much of a fan of Theresa May as he is Arsenal. This week he has hammered the Prime Minister for her handling of the Windrush scandal. The Windrush Generation are thousands of people who arrived in the UK as children during the first wave of Commonwealth immigration, beginning with the arrival of the ship HMT Empire Windrush from the Caribbean in 1948, and ending in 1971.
