When you're just 20-years-old, things can occasionally get out of hand, excuse the pun.
However this young man found himself in a world of trouble after vigorously enjoying himself on a one-to-one basis.
Sitting down to have some fun with his hands, this unnamed young man took things all the way to eleven after suffering from ‘spontaneous pneumomediastinum’ when things got too intense.
Honestly, I've got no idea what this lad was getting up to but he must've been doing something rather heavy because he managed to send himself into intensive care for three days with severe dyspnea and chest pains.
The young man first realised something was wrong when he began suffering from a sudden onset of sharp chest pains and shortness of breath while masturbating.
He was taken to hospital where doctors noted his face had become swollen while crackling sounds were heard coming from his jaw, down his chest, and his even as far as his elbows.
It was at this point that he was taken to intensive care.
Thankfully his chest pain was treated with paracetamol and antibiotics and after three days he was fit enough to leave intensive care. He was taken to a general ward where his symptoms continued to get better before he was released home.
The condition the young man was suffering with is called Pneumomediastinum, which is caused by air travelling to the upper chest and accumulating once the air has leaked from the lungs, airways, or bowels.
The main symptoms include extreme chest pain and difficulty breathing.
While this 20-year-old has made a full recovery, this certainly won't be the last time somebody's frisky hands send them to A&E.
