Earlier today (November 10), news emerged that Home and Away star Johnny Ruffo had tragically died at the age of just 35.
The Australian actor and singer died "surrounded by his partner Tahnee and family".
A statement on Ruffo's Instagram confirmed his death, reading: "It is with a heavy heart that today we had to farewell our beloved Johnny.
"He was a very talented, charming, and sometimes cheeky boy.
"Johnny was very determined and had a strong will. He battled all the way to the end and fought as hard as he could.
"Such a beautiful soul with so much more to give. We all love you Johnny and will remember you for all the joy you brought to our lives. Rest easy."
Ruffo, who was best known for his role as Chris Harrington on the Australian soap, was diagnosed with brain cancer back in 2017 and was starting an "aggressive treatment".
Ruffo was said to be an inspiration to many as he openly documented his fight with brain cancer all the way up until his untimely death.
In the immediate aftermath of his death, many are now looking at Ruffo's heartbreaking final Instagram post shared just weeks ago.
The post which was shared by both Ruffo and his partner, read: "6 years on from diagnosis. What a fighter!"
Many people are flooding the comment section below the post with tributes to Ruffo himself.
One person wrote: "God bless you Johnny. You will be always GREATLY loved respected and missed by all. Condolences to your family, but my prayers and heart goes out to your best friend/your partner in crime….who was by your side till the end. You had a special angel sent to get you through. God bless her!!!"
Another responded: "Beyond words you tried your hardest Johnny with so much spirit positivity strength courage l never thought l would be reading this! We lost a beautiful soul today Forever Young."
A third commented: "Heartfelt sympathy to you and yours. I'm thinking of you all in your time of great sorrow. Many knowing his light will always shine bright for who he was, and like you are a blessed with an equally beautiful soul that you find the strength to carry on as you know how."
Among those mourning his death is Spice Girls singer Mel B who commented on Instagram: "My heart just broke. Sending my sincere condolences."
Comedian Dave Hughes wrote: "A star has moved to the next world. Go well Johnny."
Australian Idol host Ricki-Lee Coulter posted three broken heart emojis and Neighbours actress, Bonnie Anderson, wrote: "What a man! You always knew how to light up a room Johnny.
"Sending ever hit of love to all your loved ones! Absolutely heartbreaking."
He was just 35.
