Just because you can't afford to whisk your girlfriend away to the Alps for the weekend, it doesn't mean all is lost - all you need is a job in gaming and a creative imagination. American software company employee Chandler Murch (yup, that's his name) invited his partner Kelly Totorice to take a virtual reality trip across the mountain range, and there was a surprise waiting at the end of it all. "...suddenly, a virtual engagement ring started floating my way," Totorice revealed in a Facebook post. "Chandler told me to grab it. Then told me to take off my headset, and there he really was, on one knee, with a real ring." It's geeky as hell, but that doesn't make it any less romantic.
