First up was the main event, the Halloween Whopper.
The trademark black bun gets its colour from being infused with barbecue sauce and a natural food colouring. It comes with the usual accoutrements, plus the addition of cheese and more barbecue sauce on top of the beef patty.
The famous Chicken Fries have also been given the Halloween treatment when it comes to the packaging, though there's nothing else unnatural about them (unless you count the general concept of chicken portions in the shape of french fries).
Finally, we got to wash it all down with BK's new Pumpkin Spice Latte. Various coffee shops' versions have put people on social media firmly into the 'for' or 'against' camp - will the newest addition to the pumpkin drinks canon have the same effect?
The new Halloween Menu is available at Burger King restaurants across the UK until October 31.
