According to reports, the fan claimed to have fallen asleep at half-time, and it was clearly a deep sleep as he missed the entire second half and wasn't disturbed by thousands of fans leaving Barnsley's Oakwell ground.
It says a lot about the entertainment on offer in Yorkshire, where a first half effort from Jamie Proctor gave the visitors all three points.
At least the sleepy fan didn't miss any goals.
