Robert Downey Jr’s kind gesture made this terminally ill child ‘the happiest little boy’ in Scotland

If you've ever wondered about the magic and strength that superheroes posses then let this magnificent tale featuring the world's newest Avenger, seven-year-old Aaron Hunter from West Dunbartonshire, ease any of your doubts. Aaron has been diagnosed with ROHHAD, a syndrome that's potentially lethal and incurable. Just like the strongest heroes in the Marvel films, the Iron Man fanatic has found himself needing some help after one one of his close friends, Sedona Marie, sadly passed away with the same disorder. As reported by STV, Aaron became incredibly upset after seeing one of his close friends pass away and vowed to get help from the Avengers because he wanted to protect those closest to him from further harm. Doesn't Aaron just seem like a typical superhero? Putting the needs of others before his own. He just wanted Iron Man to help cure him and his friends. Speaking about the ordeal, Aaron's mother Elisabeth said: "He is a very clever boy and he became very distraught when she passed. He told us that he doesn't want to die and he doesn't want us to forget him. We promised him we were doing all we could to help him and that his doctors were too. Aaron then said to me 'mummy, I want to help the doctors for my other special friends because I don't want anyone else to die'. In a heartwarming message that was posted to their Facebook campaign page, we're informed that "Iron Man has answered our brave boys plea for help and in doing so has made him the happiest little boy in the world! He has not stopped smiling since and told us he feels he is the luckiest boy in the world because he is now best friends with Iron Man! It adds "Thanks to Robert Downey Jr, his team and the team at Marvel Universal; Aaron has had the most incredible time of his life. He has recently met Captain America, Falcon and Black Widow during a visit to the film set that seen Aaron have the most magical time." Speaking with  STV, Arron's mother says: "He was in character as Tony Stark and Aaron absolutely believes that he has spoken to the real Iron Man. The pair of them chatted for about half an hour and he really was so sweet to him. He made Aaron feel very special and he told him that he was a hero." Here's the wonderful post in full.
