It's no wonder top NFL teams have been looking at Terron Beckham.

First of all he's the cousin of New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. But same surnames aside, it turns out Terron is an absolute beast in his own right. The personal trainer and model has not played American football since high school but he was spotted nailing some ridiculous 44in box jumps on one of the stands at a fitness expo. His explosive power and athletic ability turned some heads and got him a rookie trial with the New York Jets. The 23-year-old's bench and vertical jump would have been among the top numbers of any player at the famous NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, the NFL's annual workout for new players entering the league. "That's something that's not new to me. It's tough because I work so hard. I worked that hard all my life. And you can't just change people's minds. "If they feel like, 'What you look like or what you do, you can't do that without having whatever substances,' it's crazy. "All I have to say is that I'm here, and they've done their tests or whatever. I'm cool. I've never had to do anything, and I'm fine. "I have great genetics. I work hard. And that's all I have to say about that."

The Jets didn't offer him a contract, but Terron is still hopeful of making it in the NFL.
