Tom Hardy transforms into notorious gangster Al Capone, and you can’t tell them apart

Tom Hardy loves completely transforming himself for a role.

Having previously played both of the Kray twins, Hardy is now taking on the role of Al Capone in Fonzo, a new film focused on the final years of the Chicago mobster’s life. Here's the film's synopsis:

"Once a ruthless businessman and bootlegger who ruled Chicago with an iron fist, Alfonse Capone was the most infamous and feared gangster of American lore. At the age of 47, following nearly a decade of imprisonment, dementia rots Alfonse's mind and his past becomes present as harrowing memories of his violent and brutal origins melt into his waking life."

The movie in currently shooting, and on his Instragram Hardy has been sharing glimpses of his transformation into Capone. We’ve seen him shave his head, and wear facial scare make-up, but now he’s posted the first mugshot of Capone.
