As we all know, things are heating up in Westeros as Daenerys and her army have finally crossed the Narrow Sea in a bid to usurp Cersei from the Iron Throne.
While it appears that Dany is the most likely contender to become the next (deep breath) Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Lord of the Seven Kingdoms, and Protector of the Realm, she does have some competition for the throne.
The newly proclaimed King in the North, Jon Snow, might fancy the chance to rule the realm and we're not discounting the chances of Tyrion or Littlefinger.
To be honest, the most likely outcome would probably involve the dissolution of the whole tyrannical regime.
In fact, Daenerys even remarked that "Lannister, Baratheon, Stark, Tyrell, they’re all just spokes on a wheel. This one’s on top and that one’s on top and on and on it spins, crushing those on the ground. We’re not going to stop the wheel. I’m going to break the wheel.”
This being said, if last season was anything to go by, Sansa Stark is another strong contender for the Iron Throne. After finally exacting revenge on Ramsay Bolton, Sansa proved that she's no longer the naive victim and that she's finally understanding what it means to play the Game of Thrones.
With this in mind, Sophie Turner was a guest at the Bafta Awards last night and she revealed some details about the fate of her character in Season 7.
When the actress was asked about her upcoming projects, she said: "We're about to start shooting the next X-Men, we just finished shooting Season 7 of Game of Thrones. Then I've got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts and then we go onto Season 8. So, I've got a busy year lined up."
There you have it folks, it looks like Sansa Stark will live to see Season 8.
Can we take Turner's word as gospel or is she deliberately trying to deceive us? After all, her character has been spending an awful lot of time with Littlefinger at Winterfell!
