Someone’s worked out how many XP you need to reach Pokemon Go’s last level

Pokemon Go has been out for less than a month, but we haven't got sick of it yet.

The thing that caught our attention was the number of points you need to reach the top level, which - according to the blog - is level 40. You're probably used to having to collect a few thousand experience points (XP) in order to level up and gain the associated benefits, but it's well worth knowing what you're letting yourself in for in the long run. In order to get all the way from level 1 to level 40 you will need a grand total of 20m XP. Twenty Million. And one quarter of that total comes in the jump from 39 to 40.
