Plan B looks like a different person after ditching his unhealthy lifestyle

The rapper has cut out the whiskey, crisps and ice cream.

In terms of important voices in the UK music industry, Plan B is one of the most important as his seen by his work on Ill Manors and The Defamation of Strickland Banks - an album that spent almost eighteen months in the UK top 40 and won three Ivor Novello awards. The rapper co-scored and directed the film but after its success, he took some time away from the spotlight but now is the right time for his return. In an interview with Vice, the talented musician has said that things in Britain have deteriorated since Ill Manors was released. "Grenfell? Women throwing their babies out the window? You've got people throwing acid in people's faces. Did you see anyone get acid thrown in their face in ill Manors?" he said. Well, we're delighted to see the return of Plan B - real name Ben Drew  –and he recently appeared on The Jonathan Ross Show to perform his new song, In the Name Of Man. Speaking previously about his health issues to the Guardian, he said: ‘You see pictures of me at the Ivor Novello awards, I mean, f**king hell, I looked ill. I was so overweight, and to deal with the workload, I was getting through a bottle of JD a night. ‘Then you fancy a bag of crisps or a bit of ice cream – and it wasn’t a problem before, but it is now, because of all the calories you’re putting in yourself with the drink."

Fans of the rapper will be delighted to know that his new album, Heaven Before All Hell Breaks Loose, is set for release in April.
