The cast of Only Fools and Horses is set to reunite and return to our screens, as there will be a new project to celebrate the show’s 45th anniversary.
Sir David Jason will reunite with cast members for a new documentary series, and viewers will be able to enjoy behind the scenes footage that was "never" broadcast.
In the UK, the sitcom continues to be one of the most-loved in history, even decades after fans first met the characters, back in September of 1981.
Speaking about the new documentary, 85-year-old David Jason, who played Del Boy in the sitcom, said: “The love for Only Fools has never faded. It’s incredible to see how many people still hold it close to their hearts. Revisiting these rediscovered moments reminded me just how special the show was – and still is. It’s incredible to be able to share them now.”
The two-part series features interviews with cast and crew and includes archival material from more than 10 classic episodes, including The Jolly Boys' Outing and Mother Nature's Son.
Tribute will be paid to creator John Sullivan, who died in 2011 aged 64, by cast members including Sir David, Tessa Peake-Jones (Raquel), Gwyneth Strong (Cassandra) and Sue Holderness (Marlene).
The show ended in 2003, but many phrases which made it famous are still a part of everyday conversations and have become part of British culture.
The original series was voted Britain's Best Sitcom in a BBC poll, and the new series, Only Fools And Horses: The Lost Archive will be airing on U&GOLD in 2026.
