Just a few weeks ago, the UK as a whole was awash with a feeling of summer. Now, summer nights could not be further away.
The trees are bare, the air is frosty, and the nights are long but that just means one thing - Christmas is coming and it's coming fast.
There's no better to get cosy with a loved one and stick on a cheesy flick, and that's why one new Christmas movie (released just last week) is already top of the Netflix most-watched list.
This years flick is none other than Meet Me Next Christmas.
Directed by Rusty Cundieff, the film's got everything you'd expect from a quick and satisfying winter watch.
It follows main character, Layla, who finds herself racing through New York City to find a ticket to the sold out Pentatonix Christmas Eve Concert.
Expect love, cringe, and slapstick humour.
The film also holds an 80% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes with most critics describing it as 'unbelievable' (literally) but adding 'who wants believable from a Netflix Christmas movie'.
Benjamin Lee of The Guardian said of the movie: "It exists in Netflix festive movie world, an ever-expanding place of ever-diminishing returns, and while this won’t be a film someone would consider returning to next Christmas, it’ll just about do for now."
Brandon Avery of Just My Opinion Reviews wrote: "Initially appearing to be just another comedy lost in the streaming cloud ends up working due to the chemistry between the two leads. Didn't reach it's full potential, by not taking the drama seriously enough, but still a cute romantic story I enjoyed."
However Brandon Yu of the New York Times slammed the film saying: "Their adventures play out with little charm, and the writing is often baffling, including the nonstop references to Pentatonix, who are also awkwardly featured in scenes throughout."
If you'd like to make your own mind up on the movie, you can find it right now on Netflix.
