It went on to sell millions of records, but Anvil's career didn't flourish afterwards. Watch it if you're in the mood for: A horror that's claustrophobic, tense and gory. Threatened by paranoia and fear, the strangers show the best and worst of themselves as they try to unravel the mysterious condition that is invading each of them like a virus. Watch it if you're in the mood for: A trippy and surreal horror that's happy to homage sci-fi and fantasy. Watch it if you're in the mood for: A visceral, intense and brutal crime thriller that focuses on the menacing world of Russian gangsters.

Rotten Tomatoes rating: 88% Plot: A struggling comedy writer in New York City (Jesse Plemons) returns home to Sacramento to care for his dying mother (Molly Shannon) in this affecting family drama from Saturday Night Live writer Chris Kelly, marking his directorial debut. Watch it if you're in the mood for: A smart, subtle and bittersweet look at tragedy. Trance

Rotten Tomatoes rating: 68% Plot: Simon (James McAvoy), a fine art auctioneer, teams up with a criminal gang to steal a Goya painting worth millions of dollars, but after suffering a blow to the head during the heist he awakens to discover he has no memory of where he hid the painting. When physical threats and torture fail to produce answers, the gang's leader Frank (Vincent Cassel) hires hypnotherapist Elizabeth Lamb (Rosario Dawson) to delve into the darkest recesses of Simon's psyche. As Elizabeth begins to unravel Simon's broken subconscious, the lines between truth, suggestion, and deceit begin to blur Watch it if you're in the mood for: Some critics hated it, others really liked it.
