Watch as Sami Hyypiä is mobbed by Liverpool fans in Basel

It's safe to say that Liverpool supporters have enjoyed their big day (so far at least).

With their side taking on Sevilla in Basel, tens of thousands of supporters arrived in the Swiss city ahead of tonight's final. As we've seen throughout the day, there are a good deal more Liverpool fans that have made the trip than there are seats for them in the St Jakob-Park stadium tonight. Fans congregating in the city's squares and streets were also joined by a familiar face, as former defender Sami Hyypiä made an unexpected appearance. Sami Hyypiä was a player the last time that Liverpool reached a European final - some game in Istanbul 11 years ago (you might have heard Liverpool supporters mention it).
