Tottenham are set to announce Ange Postecoglou as their new manager as early as next week, according to reports.
Spurs have been on the search for a new permanent manager for three months now, after Antonio Conte was sacked by the club in March.
Celtic still have the Scottish Cup final to play on Saturday against Inverness, where a victory would see them claim yet another domestic treble.
Spurs have therefore decided to keep things under wraps for now whilst Postecoglou and the club prepare for this game.
But they will apparently be able to announce the 57-year-old as their next manager as early as next week, with the finer details of the deal to be agreed after the final.
Celtic will not stand in the Australian's way, and have reportedly already began their search for his replacement, with West Ham manager David Moyes seen to be a front-runner for the role.
Due to Postecoglou's rolling one-year contract at the Glasgow club though, Tottenham will not have to pay any major compensation to Celtic.
He was appointed as the club's manager in June 2021. He has won the Scottish Premiership title in both seasons at Celtic Park, along with both Scottish League Cup titles.
